So I have a lot to say about this song and map. Skip to the end if you want a TLDR. When OST 7 dropped and I heard there was a Boom Kitty and Teminite collab in it, I was ECSTATIC. I've been waiting for this collab for YEARS! I updated the game, opened up Beat Saber in my Steam library, and excitedly went to go play all of OST 7. The concept of the song was that it was a BOSSFIGHT! And with how good the mapping of Beat Games has got over time, I was sure I-aaaaagh I'll just cut to the chase. I was NOT a fan of the mapping. It's not that it was bad, but... SEVERELY underwhelming for what had SO much potential. Don't get me wrong, the lights were INCREDIBLE (as Beat Games's lightshows always are), they knocked it out of the park in that regard. But... wow. The mapping felt not very well thought out and left me very disappointed, wondering what could've been. And I don't mean to be rude to the mappers that worked on it at all, it's totally a personal preference thing, and I'm unsure of how much of a time constraint they were under making this mapset, but for two artists so near and dear to my heart, it definitely didn't land in the way I felt it should. Then shortly after the song released, @GalaxyMaster had made *his* rendition of the song, and it was insanely well-made for such a short timeframe. Even though the final drop is a bit too hard for me to pass, it made me realize two things: 1. They REALLY could've went more into the bossfight concept and made an actually VERY difficult map, and 2. I thought I could probably make a version myself that I would be happy with, even if it ends up being one of the hardest and wackiest maps I have EVER made. So now we're here. I'm literally going to go see these two artists LIVE the day after this map is uploaded, and I feel like I've done this song justice in my own way. Funny enough, I can't pass THIS VERSION EITHER! I had to call in @railzen to help me record this one since I can't pass the last drop ironically enough, haha. Thank you to Rail Zen for going out of your way to not only help me tune some of the patterns up but also record the whole map for me! You're awesome! :D This is also my first time lighting in the Skrillex environment. I spent about 4-5 hours on this lightshow. I think it turned out pretty decent, all things considered. It's also a single Ex+ difficulty because, well, OST 7 is free. There's more difficulties for you IN the game already, lmao.
