Update as of 26/12/2021 - Thanks yet again to the help and devotion of Timbo, the map is set to becomed ranked hopefully in a few months from now ! When the time comes, each players escape will be judged and be rewarded by PP ! :) In all my years of playing video games..........few games managed to really steer an emotional attachment quite like Ori and the Blind forest. Apart from amazing art work, fun gameplay, sad and eventful story - the soundtrack is superb and magnifies the experience - credit to the composer Gareth Coker for such an amazing score and Aerali Brighton for her angel like vocal voice. Some claimed the soundtrack was so good that it made them tear on the menu screen already.......having mapped that OST already, it's time to move on to yet another amazing OST ! This map will feature 5 total difficulties, with 2 modes - One Saber included ! Forwarding the story narration and elaboration of the previous Main Menu track,The Spirit Tree and Climbing The Ginso Tree, it's time to move on with the story for those interested ! :D SPOILER AHEAD for those who have not played the game and do wish to one day ! ....................................................................................................................................................................... Forwarding from the previous narration of the Ginso Tree : The forest of Nibel, a mystical and wondrous rain forest that inhabits many unique creatures and trees, has started to fade. All has taken an ill turn when Ori, a magical light spirit that inhabits the Spirit Tree like many other kin got lost in the storm, since then the forest has started to slowly die, taking away it's beauty and savagely oppressing it's inhabitants. Amoung the unfortunate - Naru, the saviour of Ori from the night he got lost in the storm and adoptive mother who took care of him and nursed him back to health. Saddened by her passing, Ori wandered the forest and began to feel the cluthes of death on him as well due to his absence from the Spirit Tree. The Spirit Tree, which has grown weak from the situation himself, sensed his sons approaching death as he fell on the ground and used all of his strength to save Ori from his imminent death - placing all faith of saving the forest on him. Ori, after being saved by the Spirit Tree, began searching for answeres and clues to the unnatural condition of the forest. His journey led him to find Sein, the eyes of the forest and his guide and companion. Sein advised to firstly reunite with the Spirit Tree and find the answeres and guidance as to what they must to do restore the forest of Nibel to it's former self. After their arrival to the Spirit Tree, it all became clear............ The events that happened that faithful night the Spirit Tree tried to recall Ori back to his home, flung the forest into chaos as the malevolent force Kuro raided and bashed Oris home and the Spirit Tree, thus disrupting the three elemnts of the forest. After understanding that these said elements hold the key to the forests recovery, Ori and Sein set off to purify the corruption around said elements and restore them to thier nominal form. The first step, involved climbing the Ginso Tree and restoring the waters of Nibel through purification of it's heart. On their way to said tree, they encountered a Gumo, who became corrupted himself like the rest of the wildlife and stole the water vein whom they seek and need. After Ori and Sein gave chase and followed it to his hideout, Gumo flung every trap he could at them to hinder their will to reach him, which ironically led him to being trapped himself. The kind hearted Ori freed the Gumo from his peril and even soothed him with kind words, which in turn threw the Gumo into confusion and led him to surrender the water vein and flee. After retrieving the Vein, Ori and Sein finally set their sights on the Ginso Tree, which they thus started to climb from the bottom to it's heart. ..............................................................................Time goes by.................................................................... At long last, after an intense journey that invloved climbing, fighting and puzzle solving, Ori and Sein now find themselves several feet above ground. They reached the heart of the Ginso Tree, only to find it wraped and tainted with thorns whom prevent their approach. They will have to work their way into removing said thorns before setting their sights on the heart. .........................................A few puzzle solving and environmental bashing later...................... With the last thorn leaving it's grip from the heart of the Ginso Tree, Ori and Sein approach the heart....... Sein, using the magic of the Spirit Tree, chants forth a spell, and the heart of the Ginso Tree regains it's spark and it's heartbeats once more ! However.........up ahead, Oris ears perk as he suddenly hears an intense sound.........the sound of gashing water ! Looking below, a river of water is heading towards them like the dams of the world was flunged open ! Initially panicking, Ori thinks of any means of escape, he can't allow himself to end his life once more here while the forests death is still at hand ! With Seins quick thinking, she advises they flee and escape through the roof of the tree, which they do so and begin the run of thier life ! Can Ori and Sein reach the top of the tree alive and save the forest or will they be washed by the impending waters they sought to purify ? ................................................................................................................................
